So we have these things called milestones (as there are no formal assessments) and these are the stepping stones along the PhD pathway. Each one is designed to ensure you are on track with where you should be at certain stages of the journey. The first PPR (Plan and Progress Report) happens two months in when, let’s be honest, you barely even KNOW what you’re doing, how you’re meant to do it let alone create a three year plan!!!
But create a plan I did and it was exhausting but really encouraging to see my three years planned out in front of my eyes, not that it is a stationary document – oh no – it’s a fluid beast that grows and changes before your eyes!
Happy days! My PPR was finally accepted (with a few hiccups along the way) 🙂
